 Job Summary:
 The Production Controller I supports daily production operations by assisting with scheduling, material flow, and communication between departments to ensure that work is completed on time and to quality standards. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in production planning, organization, and process improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining daily production schedules and tracking progress.
  • Support material flow to production areas by coordinating with warehouse and purchasing teams.
  • Update production boards, trackers, and huddle boards with current data.
  • Communicate daily with supervisors and leads to address any delays or issues.
  • Assist with monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
  • Support preparation of reports for production metrics such as output, delivery, and quality.
  • Help identify and report opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards in all tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training preferred).
  • 1+ year experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office; ERP experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
